Snow King’s MasqueParade now on Facebook

We, the Snow King’s helpers at Kicking Horse Culture, have just brought the old fella into the modern age and have created a Facebook group to spread the word on all of the upcoming MasqueParade activities leading up to the February 13 and 14 weekend. We’ve created a new friend “Kicking Culture” on Facebook and with the help of Mike DjSlickmic Pecora we’ve created a new group called “Kicking Horse Culture in Golden, BC”. Go there, join the group and stay up-to-date on what’s happening with the MasqueParade and all of our events and shows.

Spinners Unite! MythMakers coming to Golden Jan. 31/Feb. 1

We can now confirm a very special weekend of ‘circus arts’ workshops with Hjeron O’Sidhe. Hjeron is the artistic director of MythMakers – www.mythmaker.ca – and his troupe of poi spinners and stilt walkers have created fantastical performances at festivals like Shambahlah and Burning Man. Hjeron will be in town at the end of the month for two days of activities that will be co-ordinated with Linnaea Thornley and her local group of Golden Spinners who are hosting regular Wednesday evening sessions at the Civic Centre.
