In the summer, cool off in the scenic Nechako River on the banks of Riverside Park, or embark on a gentle canoe ride, with fishing rod in tow. During the winter, try ice sailing or skating on the frozen river.
Riverside Park
Located on the banks of the Nechako River, just north of downtown Vanderhoof, Riverside Park presents the perfect opportunity for ultimate relaxation. Stop to stretch your legs, have a picnic lunch or stay overnight at one of the 38 campsites. Be sure to climb the bird watching tower for a better view. In the winter months enjoy cross-country skiing on the groomed trails.
