Kermodei Cruisers are back

As a child, your parents told you not to talk to strangers, but you might want to reconsider that advice this summer.
That’s because Kermodei Tourism, the town’s main tourism body, is bringing back their Kermodei Cruiser program for the second summer.
Two locals will be cruising around Terrace and the surrounding area acting as town ambassadors.
Their goal is to help visitors by answering any questions. They’ll be distributing information like maps, coupons, flyers and pamphlets about places to visit, accommodation, and restaurants in the area.
Driving around in a van fitted with a rack full of resources, the two representatives are roaming local campsites, RV parks, lakes, picnic areas and other popular tourist destinations in and around town.
They will also be collecting information for tourists: the ambassadors will likely ask where visitors are from, why they are here, and how long they are staying to help market Terrace and serve tourists better in the future.
So when in Terrace, if approached by two smiling strangers with bags full of information, don’t be afraid. Ask them anything you want to know.
It’s part of a program to help you enjoy yourself and take advantage of all the area has to offer. ;
