Looking for adventure? Then make sure you fit sailing into your summer schedule this year.
The North Okanagan Sailing Association is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that promotes sailing. Adult public sailing lessons start in June and range from beginner to intermediate skill levels. Youth lessons begin the first week of July and accept children as young as six. This five-day course includes basic skills, safety rules and training in a kayak.
In addition to lessons, the sailing association hosts the NOSA International Regatta. This year the event will take place on September 8 and 9 and will include participants from all over Canada and the United States.
The sailing association is located on the east shore of the northern portion of Lake Okanagan.
